Meet your teacher
I’m Teacher Franky from Cape Town. I have taught English since 2013 and have more than 20,000 hours of online teaching experience. I hold a BA, cum laude, in Linguistics and Social Anthropology, as well as several TEFL qualifications, including Young English Learner Specialist and IELTS Coach. I teach English learners from age three to adulthood, from many language backgrounds.
English for children, parents and adults
Children and school learners: Lessons are planned for each learner’s age and needs. They can support school English, Cambridge preparation and confidence in speaking English.Parents: I can show you simple ways to help your child learn English at home. You can ask for advice even if you are not taking lessons yourself.Adults: Practise Business English, interviews, meetings, presentations or everyday communication. We focus on situations you need in real life.
Lessons made for each learner
I create and adapt lesson materials to match each learner’s age, English level, interests and goals. I notice what is becoming easier and what needs more practice, then plan the next steps. Lessons grow with the learner.
